Temporary Assimilation

“Temporary assimilation” as a tendency to assimilate and adapt to a temporary home in awareness of leaving soon. Dealing with the disappearing presence and the definition of home, comparing the feelings of different people who changed their home for a certain time for different reasons, as the students in the dorm or Ukrainian girl escaping from the war. Inspired by my constant travels these days I am questioning the possibility of sticking to something we know is temporary. How can we concentrate and really live something that we know will pass?
